I am both proud and privileged to be the Principal of St. John Fisher School where the Local Academy Committee, staff, parents and children work together in harmony. It is our aim to work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure the best possible start in life for our children. Saint John Fisher is a Catholic school with our mission statement, ‘Through Christ we live, love and learn in our caring community’ at the heart of everything we do. It is our aim to ensure that everyone who enters through our doors will be touched by an ethos of love, warmth and compassion. We are committed to providing a first class education. As well as striving for excellence in academic standards we believe passionately in educating the ‘whole’ child; by nurturing and developing each individual’s God given talents. Through our broad, balanced and rich curriculum we are committed to developing happy, confident and articulate children who embrace a love of learning in this ever changing world.
